Sania advances to second round of Hobart International

After the average performance at Hopman Cup, Sania Mirza started a successful journey at Moorilla Hobart International. It is a Tier IV hard court WTA event. To reach the second round of it, Sania defeated Lourdes Dominguez of Spain by 6-4 6-0. For the next round she will face to Alla Kudryavtseva of Russia.

However, the other Indian Leander Paes had a bad day. Leander Paes along with his Australian partner Paul Hanley exits from Medibank International by losing to Czech pair of Martin Damm and Pavel Vizner. Meanwhile, Mahesh Bhupati is paired with Mark Knowles and will take on to the Czech pair of Radek Stepanek and Tomas Berdych.
