Sania will meet to Tulyaganova for the 1st round of Australian Open

Year's first tennis grand slam- Australian Open 2008 is starting from Monday, 14th Jan. For the very first round of it, Sania will take on to a wild card Uzbek player Iroda Tulyaganova.

Sania is currently ranked 31st, while Tulyaganova is ranked 317th in world rankings. However, Tulyaganova was one of the top-20 players in 2001. Tulyaganova owns three singles titles. Meanwhile, she is also known for defeating former no. 1 Belgian player Kim Clijsters and Patty Schnyder.

If, Sania will defeat Tulyaganova and move on to second round, then she will face to Australian player Sophie Ferguson, who is ranked 176th on charts. However, if she will cross the second round, then she will meet to the 8th seeded Venus Williams of America.
