Sania Slips out of Top-30 List

Sania is out of WTA circuit since last 4-5 weeks due to wrist injury. Right now she is undergoing through a wrist surgery in US. Her absence in the WTA circuit cost her to drop down to 32nd place (917 points) in current WTA ranking released on Monday. However she maintained to hold on her doubles ranking to 19th place (1830 points).

The other Indians, Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes also maintained to hold on their previous doubles rankings to 13th and 24th place respectively.

After the surgery, Sania is next supposed to play at French Open next month.
