Sania entered 2nd round of DFS Classic

Sania Mirza is back on court after a long gap with USD 200,000 DFS Classic. Sania was out of action for last three months due to a right wrist injury. She undergone for a surgery on April 10 in Miami and now she is all set for the grass season. Due to wrist injury Sania missed the whole clay season including the concluding Grand Slam- French Open.

At DFS Classic, Sania get a bye in the first round. For the second round she will take on to the winner of Stephanie Dubois Vs Marina Erakovic. On WTA charts she is currently ranked 32, while at DFS Classic which is a Tier III event, she is ranked sixth. This is a build up event before the next Grand Slam i.e. Wimbledon.
