Sania-Mattek reaches 3rd round of women's doubles at Wimbledon

Mirza Sania along with her American partner Bethanie Mattek entered into the third round of women's doubles at Wimbledon. To reach the third round they defeated the Russian-Italian pair of Maria Kirilenko and Flavia Pennetta in two straight sets 6-3 6-4. Sania-Mattek dominated the match from start. Seeded 13th, the Indo-American pair defeated their unseeded opponents in a little over an hour.

Sania-Mattek will now next take on to Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan and Darya Kustova of Belarus.
