Sania defeated by Yuan at EWB Classic

Sania Mirza once again crashed out from a tournament at second round stage. This time it was East West Bank Classic. 16th-seeded Sania went down to unseeded Meng Yuan of China in two straight sets 4-6 3-6. The match lasted for one and half hour.

In the first set Sania broke her Chinese opponent once but dropped her service twice to loose the set. In the second set Sania converted only three out of six breakpoints. On the other hand, Yuan won all five breakpoints came in her way and snatched the match from Sania.

In last month itself, Sania has lost in second round matches of s'Hertogenbosch, Birmingham and Wimbledon.
