Sania will begin her Olympic campaign against Benesova

Sania Mirza will open her Olympic campaign against Iveta Benesova of Czechoslovakia for singles. For doubles she is paired up with Sunitha Rao. The duo will take on to the France pair Tatiana Golovin and Paulin Permentier for their first round.

It is the first Olympic for Sania.
