Sania Reaches Last 16 of Aegon Classic

Sania Mirza made a good start with year's grass court season as she defeated the 11th seed and British no. one Anne Keothavong to enter the last 16 list of Aegon Classic, Birmingham event.

Mirza demonstrating that she is fully recovered from the career threatening wrist injury won the first set 6-1 with ease. Also when Keothavong gave good fight for the second set 7-6 (7/5), Sania managed to pull out the match.

It would be great start for Sania before the Wimbledon. Grass has always been Sania's favourite surface.
