Sania's Singles Campaign Ends at Wimbledon
[Sat Jun 27, 2009]Sania Mirza loses to Sorana Cirstea of Romania 6-4, 6-4 at the second round singles event at Wimbledon. Cirstea ranked 27th in world played the game aggressively and wrapped up the match in one hour and 22 minutes. Few weeks ago the Romanian defeated Jelena Jankovic to make place in quarterfinals of French Open.
Number of unforced errors and two double faults cost Sania to lose the match. The onlookers have the opinion that Sania was not in form for the second round as compared to her performance in the first round.
