Sania Goes Down On WTA Charts

Sania made early exit from Wimbledon championships losing to her opponent in the second round of singles event. However she also has dropped down in her rankings. According to WTA rankings released on Monday, the Indian goes down to 85th place in singles ranking. However, maintained to stay at 37th position in doubles ranking.

Among other Indians, Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes are placed at 8th and 6th position in the men's doubles ranking. However, Somdev Devvarman and Prakash Amrittraj went down by 3 and 5 places to 132nd and 159th position respectively in men's doubles ranking.
