Sania Moving Up On WTA Charts

According to the WTA ratings released on Monday, Sania Mirza rises up 9 rung to be at 74th position. However, she is static on her doubles ranking to 49th position. Her latest winning attempt at ITF Lexington Challenger and appearance in the final of Vancouver Open made her move up on the WTA charts.

Meanwhile the other Indians also managed to improve their respective rankings. Somdev Devvarman moved up 13 places to 140th position on ATP rankings. Prakash Amritraj gained three places progression to 261st position on the ATP singles ladder. However, Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes are holding their ranks on 9th and 6th position in the men's double rankings.
