Sania exits from Pan Pacific Open
[Tue Sep 29, 2009]Sania Mirza crashes out from the prestigious $2 million event, Pan Pacific Open, for which she had to go through the two qualifying rounds. Sania went down to Jie Zheng China in three setter run 7-5 2-6 3-6 which lasted for more than two hours.
Even though not having in good form in recent times, Sania fought hard at the event. It has been more than a year Sania is struggling with wrist injury. Initially, she took a lead of 1-0 breaking her opponent thrice. However her run didn't continue in same manner for the second and third set. Sania didn't manage to save her own serves in second and third set and so lose to the Chinese.
