Sania crashes out from ASB Classic

Sania Mirza's campaign at the Auckland event ends as she crashes out from singles as well as doubles event. In singles, Sania went down to 4th seed Francesca Schiavone (Italy) 0-6 3-6 in the second round. However, in doubles, Mirza along with her new partner Virginia Ruano Pascual (Spain) went down to Dominika Cibulkova and Yanina Wickmayer 1-6, 6(6)-7 in the opening round.

In the first round of singles, Sania had defeated Swiss player Stefanie Voegele in three sets 5-7, 6-1, 7-5.
