Catch Sania on Zee News along with Kiran Bedi

Get a glimpse of your favorite tennis star Sania Mirza on Zee News in a special program named Kiran Aur Kirnae, being hosted by retired IPS officer and social activist Kiran Bedi. In a candid chat with a true achiever Kiran Bedi, Sania shared the challenges and obstacles she encountered during her journey towards success.

Sania spoke about the obstacles from society and how coming from a small town like Hyderabad, gave her little access to practice tennis. However, support from family and school helped her to stay devoted to the game. Talking about her future plans, Sania said that one day she wants to open her own Tennis Academy. However for as short term goal, she is focusing on the upcoming Commonwealth and Asian Games.

Kiran Aur Kirnae is a Zee News' initiative to educate the country about women power and enlightening it. The program is supposed to have 13 episodes in its first attempt. It will broadcast on Sundays at 6:30 P.M. and at 11:30 P.M. Other than Sania Mirza, women icons expected to appear on the show include Uma Bharti, Chanda Kochchar, Sharmila Tagore and Saina Nehwal.
