Pakistan Tennis Federation insists Sania to play for Pak

As soon as the uncertainty of Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza's marriage to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has been quenched, there arises a new question. Now for which country Sania will play next - India or Pakistan. Although Sania has already declared that she will continue to play for India even after marriage, Chief of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Dilawar Abbas wants Sania to play for Pakistan. He said that as she has married to a Pakistani person, she should play for Pakistan from now onwards.

He later added that Sania would be great role model for Pakistan girls to progress in the game. He said the Pakistan tennis community will welcome her open heartedly if she decides to play for them. Moreover, he suggested that she should team up with Aisam-ul-Haq for the mixed-doubles events.

Any ways, seems like controversies regarding Sania Mirza's marriage are not going to stop so soon. All we can do is wait and watch.
